CORI is a non-profit that was founded with the intention of increasing access to treatment services in the state of Minnesota.

CORI has worked tirelessly to protect and increase access and services for addiction in MN.

Our dedicated work has secured over $86 billion of annual funding for substance use services throughout the state including:

Treatment Access

CORI has been instrumental in securing $60+ billion per year for treatment services in addition to the 50% federal match through MA payments

Cannabis Tax

Our advocacy has redirected $10 million per year of the state’s Cannabis Tax to treatment services

Opioid Distribution Fee

We’ve secured $15 million per year in grant funding administered by the Opioid Epidemic Advisory Council (OERAC) for overdose prevention

Office of Addiction and Recovery

The OAR receives $1 Million annually in financial support because of CORI’s advocacy

MINNESOTA LEGISLATURE APPROVES SUBOXONE ACCESS FOR ALL – LIFESAVING TREATMENT

The Minnesota Legislature successfully passed HF 4493, a bipartisan bill authorizing trained pharmacists to independently initiate, prescribe, dispense, and administer buprenorphine (Suboxone) for the treatment of opioid use disorder. [1234]
