As our lead lobbyist, Sarah’s skill set includes consensus building to help resolve contentious differences of opinion and a deep understanding of how good ideas are translated into good policy.  She is also reform minded, coming up with innovative ideas to fund and improve SUD programing.  Sarah is the main driver behind the Fed’s approval of Medical Assistance to pay for treatment, thereby allowing direct access to care and a 50% match in funding.  She was also an integral part of the implementation of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Addiction.
