This year CORI is working towards:
- Workplace reform including shortening background study turnaround, establishing more appropriate background requirements, changing education requirements to allow a 2-year focused degree instead of requiring a 4 year degree,
- Implementation of a statewide plan that would increase access to treatment and provide permanent funding for services
- Establishing regulatory presence to ensure the use of metrics and evidence based best practices for treatment services and ethical, honest advertising practices as well as ensure appropriate use of funding
